We are looking for an individual with some experience to take up a role as Report Writer. You will join an extensive 20-year framework project known as PPP (Programme and Project Partners).

Role description

This position would suit experience gained within a project controls setting with excellent report writing skills.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

What will you be doing?

You’ll work closely with a Project Controls Manager within one of the sites highest value projects to effectively take reporting out of their hands and will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the maintenance and production of reports
  • Coordinating the production of all reports and producing project summary reports
  • Preparing ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by the PCM

Essential skills

Some project controls knowledge is important for technical understanding.

You’ll be using data for reporting (producing pivot tables, graphs, charts etc.) so you’ll need to be interested in data and reporting, be computer literate and numerate.

You’ll also need to have advanced Excel skills and be proficient with applications such as Power BI, Visio etc.

Organisation & time management with excellent communication (written and spoken) are also important as you’ll need to be confident and independent in your work.

Desired skills

Nuclear experience isn’t essential, but complex construction and highly regulated engineering exposure would be a good fit.

Rate/Salary

What are the terms?

All roles are offered upon a permanent basis and this case salary will go up to early 40Ks, experience dependent. Holidays are offered at 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with a variety of benefits offered.

This is a Monday to Friday role and Warrington or Cumbria would be fine for an office location. The conversation around remote working is currently taking place.

About PPP (Programme and Project Partners)

The PPP model will revolutionise project delivery at Sellafield nuclear site. It will help deliver 17 major construction projects associated with developing the infrastructure required for the reprocessing and making safe of nuclear waste material. This will ultimately support the transformation of Sellafield from a nuclear operator into a world leader in environmental remediation, with a value of close to £7 billion.
