Role description

Ready for a change? Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) is looking for a Reporting & Performance Senior Manager, to lead the reporting, governance & performance function across RWM.

You will lead a team of driven individuals as you work to ensure best practice within the critical areas of reporting, governance, and performance management across RWM. Additionally, you will;

  • Develop appropriate processes and systems for the management of reporting against progress, milestones and targets to key programme boards and other fora; ensuring transparency of information for costs, risks, issues, and schedule.
  • Accountable and leading the team for the compilation review and editing of reports from Programmes and Projects, ensuring that all changes, trends, forecasts, and other critical project information is clearly and accurately represented.
  • Add intelligence to the reporting process by providing input and analysis to the information gathered.
  • Accountable and leading the team to establish, maintain, and support an efficient system for management of board meetings, preparations, attendances, and papers including preparation and approval of agendas and papers.
  • Ensuring accurate minutes and action points are issued promptly after meetings, progressed, and reported against in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining appropriate records of decisions and actions, under configuration management, as part of programme documentation and governance.
  • Establish, maintain, and support an efficient programme and project change control process and reporting system. Ensure that programme and project change control is integrated with the change processes for design and safety.
  • Lead on Document/Information Management and PPM systems across the programme, to enable effective and coordinated management of all core programme and project performance information (Schedule, Risk, Change Control, Cost and Progress Reporting).
  • Support the evaluation of all aspects of the GDF programme and project performance to determine the causes of variance from established plans formulating corrective action plans with the project delivery teams and monitoring effective implementation.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

You will have experience developing and implementing best practice reporting, governance & performance management as well as leading successful teams within project and programme controls.

Experience within the nuclear industry is not required, however, you should understand the complex delivery requirements within highly regulated industries.
