Do you have experience of developing Quantitative Risk Analyses with tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis or Pertmaster?

Would you be interested in joining an organisation dedicated to engineering and project management for the decommissioning and dismantling of nuclear power plants, as well as for the design of waste storage and treatment facilities?

Cyclife Group was established by EDF as part of the vision to become the European Leader in Decommissioning and Waste Management. Cyclife’s decommissioning concept is a waste-led approach committed to meeting the growing requirements to decontaminate, clear and recycle materials from the nuclear industry in order to preserve storage capacities.

Role description

As part of Cyclife’s Decommissioning team you will be an integrated member of a client Project Management Office (PMO), where you will implement Risk Management.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

You’ll work alongside and in support of other Risk personalities within the business whilst functioning as a leader to other team members, so you’ll get to apply your expertise whilst having peer support for development, and in turn, being able to provide development and support to others.

You will:

  • Design, develop and maintain risk registers
  • Deliver quantitative risk analyses
  • Act as an “information hub” or “go-to” person
  • Provide support to the wider Cyclife UK business in the area of Risk management, as and where needed
  • Help identify future opportunities of work with existing and new customers in the area of risk management

Essential skills

As this is a nuclear client, there is a high desire for project risk management experience which has been developed within a nuclear industry setting.

Desired skills

Whilst there is a team leader aspect, experience here isn’t the focus, instead it’s the interest in doing so and which should underpin your project risk expertise.

They offer attractive salaries (discussed at application), company car allowance and the other normal benefits you’d expect such as holidays and pension.

Cyclife have office locations in Gloucestershire, East Kilbride, Cumbria and the North East and offer great flexibility around these, with remote working the norm.
