Role description

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join in an extensive 20-year framework project known as PPP (Programme and Project Partners), with an estimated value of £6.5billion. The PPP model will revolutionise project delivery at Sellafield nuclear site and help deliver 17 major construction projects associated with developing the infrastructure required for the reprocessing and making safe of nuclear waste material, and ultimately support the transformation of Sellafield from a nuclear operator into a world leader in environmental remediation.

As a Senior Analyst you will play a pivotal role in the identification and delivery of supply chain reporting as well as advise the team on data trends and analytics that will help inform the strategic direction in both the business and procurement function.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Identification and manipulation of source data and analytics to identify reporting tools
  • Trend, performance and exception reporting to inform strategic decision making within the supply chain function
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the procurement function policies, processes and procedures to ensure fulfilment of legislative / procedure requirements and alignment to operations.
  • Complying with all relevant environment, health, quality and safety procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Contributing to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices, considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Essential skills

This position would suit experience with large commercial projects or those with a structured strategic reporting function. You will be confident analysing and manipulating datasets as well as data visualisation/presentation with a high level of accuracy. Previous experience within nuclear is not necessary but should be within other highly regulated complex environments under NEC contract forms.

This position can be based in Warrington or Cumbria.
