Role description

RWM’s vision is to create a safer future by managing radioactive waste effectively, to protect people and the environment.

RWM’s mission is to deliver a Geological Disposal Facility and provide radioactive waste management solutions. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the NDA, RWM’s programmes of work deliver Government Policy, and NDA Strategy, for radioactive waste management.

You will contribute to the development and maintenance of requirements management and related systems engineering products and capabilities.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the NDA in developing Sponsor’s Requirements, identifying assumption, risks and coordinating assessments required for proposed changes.
  • Supporting the Head of Requirements and Integration in developing Requirements Management capability.
  • Leading and managing the team of requirements management specialists.

Your pragmatic character and leadership skills will be an asset to a team that is expanding in the efforts of siting the GDF.

Essential skills

  • Relevant Science or Engineering Degree
  • System engineering and requirements management experience
  • Team management experience
