For a well-known client operating in the United Arab Emirates we are currently in search of a Subject Matter Expert – QA. The client is offering a 1 month contract, with a possibility for extension.

Role description

To perform Audit of QA function, limited to activities of QA Division activities to assess the process and procedures developed are meeting the requirements of applicable codes, standards and regulatory requirements and its effective implementation.

  • Preparation of audit checklists to assess performance to established criteria and implementation of the Quality Assurance Program.
  • Lead audit team to ensure accurate, thorough and timely completion of approved scope.
  • Mentoring associates and subject matter experts on the audit and/or surveillance process
  • Documenting the results of audits and assessments in accordance with Nawah QA procedures and the Corrective Action Program.

The proposed size of Audit Team is two individuals, who are qualified Auditors, one of whom should act as lead Auditor, having qualified as Lead Auditor and with substantial auditing experience of a Commercial Nuclear Power Plant in operation.

Responsibilities

The scope of the audit is to review Quality Assurance functions and processes and assess them in meeting the requirements of regulation, Applicable codes and standards (ASME NQA-1 1994 1995 addenda and ANSI 3.2, 2012) and industry best practices.

The audit scope shall include verifying following areas of the QA program:

  • QA Audit
  • Scheduling, Planning and conducting of Internal Audit and post audit activities
  • Scheduling, Planning and conducting External audits performed to qualify supplier, including Desk top audits and post audit activities
  • Training and Qualification of lead Auditors, Auditors and Subject Matter Experts
  • QA Program
  • Management of QA program effectiveness
  • Training and Qualification of QA Program staff
  • Effective implementation of counterfeit, fraudulent and suspect items (CFSI) Program
  • Quality Surveillance
  • Performance of Receiving Inspection
  • Performance of Surveillance and oversight
  • QA Audit and Prime Contract Quality Assurance
  • Scheduling, Planning and conducting of Internal Audit and post audit activities
  • Scheduling, Planning and conducting External audits performed
  • Training and Qualification of lead Auditors, Auditors and Subject Matter Experts
