Looking for a chance to use your change control and configuration management expertise to contribute to UK’s environmental rehabilitation? Join RWM to play a key role in the development of UK’s Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) programme.

RWM’s mission is to deliver a Geological Disposal Facility and provide radioactive waste management solutions. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the NDA, RWM’s programmes of work deliver Government Policy, and NDA Strategy, for radioactive waste management.

As a Specification Manager you will manage and develop the configuration and change control management of the generic Disposal System Safety Case (gDSSC) and technical requirements, assumptions, and interfaces for the development of the GDF.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and improving established procedures for change control of the gDSSC (RWPR40)
  • Managing the gDSSC change control process on behalf of the change owners and the Disposal System Change Board (DSCB)
  • Developing and implementing configuration management arrangements for GDF requirements and associated design information

Requirements:

  • Relevant Science or Engineering Degree
  • Experience involving configuration and control of technical or design information for requirements management systems
  • Track record of identifying, developing, agreeing and implementing process improvements
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, nuclear, renewables, or other highly regulated industry

Your pragmatic character and leadership skills will be an asset to a team that is expanding in the efforts of siting the GDF.
