For one of our clients we are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to work on a big international nuclear new build project. This would be a long term project on a contract basis to be based in Lille- France

Role description

Responsible for the coordination of the Engineering and Qualification teams; to ensure on-plan delivery within budget and support the Technical Delivery Manager on the following deliverables

Knowledge, Experience and Skills


To describe the suitable sequence of activities and the resource needs to enable to deliver on contracted scope (qualification and systems delivery).

To guarantee that progress is reported correctly, and to ensure that suitable remedial action is taken

To ensure that realistic forecasts are advised to Project Controls and incorporated into the programme / LOD (List of Deliverable)


Delivery Management:

To ensure that deliverables are allocated to appropriate personnel for authoring, checking and review prior to presentation to the client

To ensure that the constraints are understood preventing start/finish of our activities and,

  • where related to availability/quality of input data, to communicate these effectively to the client and endeavour to close them out
  • where related to inadequate performance or lack of resource, to take urgent corrective action and /or to secure the additional necessary resource to recover to plan.
  • To ensure that technical issues preventing progression are challenged , with clear statement of impact on key dates/schedule/costs, to allow action to be taken.
  • To identify and manage Unplanned Activities (based on need/urgency)


Reporting :  

To monitor and report performance on deliverables production against plan, and to implement recovery actions in case of under-performance

To monitor performance against plan in respect of schedule progress and cost efficiency
