Thomas Thor launches a new office in Bristol to support UK nuclear new build

Global nuclear recruitment and executive search firm Thomas Thor celebrated the opening of their new office in Bristol. The event was attended by EDF Energy, members of the supply chain and representatives from the NI and Nuclear South West amongst others.

The event opened with a welcome address from Eve Guilloton, Head of Thomas Thor’s UK business. The Head of HR for Hinkley Point C described Thomas Thor as a “valuable partner” to EDF Energy’s Nuclear New Build business and welcomed their “commitment to the Hinkley Point C project”

Callum Thomas, CEO and Founder of Thomas Thor, stated “we are extremely proud to be part of the UK nuclear industry and our new Bristol office is a statement of our long term commitment to nuclear new build here”. He added “the long term career opportunities in the UK nuclear industry have never been better, and our mission is to attract the very best people to the industry. In addition to the existing nuclear talent pool, we can also recruit specialists from other complex and regulated industries to join the nuclear industry. We also have the opportunity to repatriate British experts that have moved to other parts of the world to deliver mega infrastructure projects.”

Hinkley Point C will create 25,000 job opportunities during construction and employ 900 people at the power station over its 60 years of operation.

Thomas Thor ouvre un bureau à Bristol pour soutenir le nouveau projet nucléaire britannique

Thomas Thor, cabinet de conseils et de recrutement international dans le domaine du nucléaire, a célébré l’ouverture de son nouveau bureau à Bristol. Etaient présents EDF Energy, les représentants du Nuclear Institute et du Nuclear South West ainsi que les différents acteurs travaillant sur le chantier de Hinkley Point C.

Eve Guilloton, responsable du bureau de Bristol de Thomas Thor, a tout d’abord souhaité la bienvenue aux participants et inauguré les nouveaux bureaux. La responsable des Ressources Humaines d’EDF Energy a décrit Thomas Thor comme un «partenaire important» et a salué leur «engagement envers le projet Hinkley Point C».

Hinkley Point C créera 25 000 emplois pendant la construction et emploiera 900 personnes à la centrale au cours de ses 60 ans d’exploitation.
