Working in support of our well-known client in Finland, we are currently seeking a PTW officer or shift supervisor in PWR to manage an OPS team. This is a contractor role with an initial contract until the end of 2020.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage an OPS team in an incidental or accidental situation ( PWR NPP only)
  • Ability to realize a nuclear risk analysis (for a line-up, corrective maintenance, forex)
  • Overall understanding about PWR NPP
  • Analyse the incidental statement of the plant
  • Conduct the plant in a safe state
  • Communication
  • Nuclear safety management
  • Optimization

Essential skills

  • PTW officer or shift supervisor in PWR unit in operation only (1300, 1400, EPR)
  • 5 years’ experience in the main control room unit in operation ( PWR)
  • 3 years’ experience minimum in PTW officer
  • Knowledge about the blocking process and maintenance process
  • Knowledge in Nuclear safety (barrier, safety function, human tools, redundancy, the requirement for shift manager in a NPP)
  • Knowledge and skills in the technical specification ( French RGE STE, US LCO )
  • Communication and ability to advise practices
  • Monitor attentively parameters and plant state
  • Adopt a careful approach in the plant operation

  • Ability to realize a nuclear risk analysis (for the lineup, blocking, forex)
  • Overall understanding about PWR NPP
