Our client, Longenecker and Associates is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to support their efforts at the Los Alamos National Lab.

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a woman owned small business, has provided technical and management support to the Nuclear Energy Industry for over 30+ years. We have the immediate need for a QA/QC Inspector to contribute to the mission of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). LANL is a multidisciplinary research institution dedicated to enhancing national security by ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. nuclear stockpile, developing technologies to reduce threats from weapons of mass destruction, and solving problems related to energy, environment, infrastructure, health, and global security concerns.

Role description

Level 3 is considered a skilled journeyman-level position. An ideal candidate has extensive experience in nuclear quality assurance, audits and surveillance experience, and supplier oversight. Candidates should have continuous improvement experience, including issues management, corrective and preventive action. A successful candidate is a high-energy, organized professional with excellent time management skills, highly flexible and adaptable, and seeks out challenging assignments.

Essential skills

  • Q-level DOE clearance required,
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; dual citizenship is not allowed.
  • 3-5 years of extensive previous experience gained through training in specific field of technology.

She was also responsible for program reporting and analytics and partnering with Colleges/Universities within FirstEnergy footprint to attract top and diverse talent. Since obtaining her Bachelor’s in Psychology degree from Case Western Reserve University Jaleesa has become a senior level results driven HR professional with 11 years focused experience in Strategic Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Engagement and Talent Development initiatives. From supporting small-mid size international companies to regional large organizations employing 15,000-33,000 people, Jaleesa gained extensive knowledge in many aspects of the Human Resources field and recently obtain her SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification in July 2019 after also renewing her CDR (Certified Diversity Recruiter) designation. She is comfortable working with all levels of leadership from customer service reps and line supervisors to Sr. VPs and CIOs.
