Role description

Our Client is looking for an experienced Environmental coordinator that takes the lead on the implementation of the project environmental rules by the contractors and their own protection plan.

This permanent position is based fully on-site; in the south of France.

The candidates must be able to fluently speak French and English.

Some of the activities that will shape your day:

  • Advocate for an environmental culture across all parties.
  • Take on an active role in the continual improvement policy by proposing new measures
  • Ensure that environmental hazard identification and risk assessments are carried out prior the work being executed
  • Develop and maintain the environmental protection plan
  • Review all Environmental Protection Plans of clients contractors
  • Responsible for investigating environmental events, incidents, accidents on-site of contractors and liaising with them on action plan follow up.
  • Create and submit the monthly Environmental Data Reports

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

To succeed in this role you should have at least a Master Degree in HSE Engineering or Equivalent.

We are looking into professionals that have developed in the area for a minimum of 7 years, in a Environmental Coordinator (Or similar) role on Industrial sites.

Also, knowledge about the following topics are deem necessary:

  • ICPE Regulations (Mandatory)
  • Practice of HSE management systems
  • French HSE regulations
  • French nuclear regulation
  • IT TOOLS: Microsoft Outlook, Smart Plant, Pack Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
