  • For security purposes – the Nuclear Industry is a highly secure and safety conscious industry and in the interests of security we may need to hold your information for a minimum period of time depending on the regulations of the local authorities in the jurisdictions we work in.

Thomas Thor does not disclose personal information about you to third parties, except as described in this privacy policy. Thomas Thor will share with its clients personal information relating to candidates. Limited members of the Recruitment, Compliance and Customer Services, Finance, HR, IT and Legal teams in Thomas Thor may access and otherwise process personal information in connection with their job responsibilities or contractual obligations. Your personal information may also be shared with Thomas Thor affiliate companies and with third party providers who perform services for Thomas Thor.

Third party service providers will be obligated to use that personal information only in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy and applicable legal requirements. In addition to the disclosures necessary for the purposes identified above, Thomas Thor may disclose your personal information to the extent required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights.

All data submitted to Thomas Thor will be held for a maximum of 5 years from the date it is received by Thomas Thor, if contact is made between parties then the most recent communication will be used as the start date of the 5 years.  If you contract with Thomas Thor then the data will be held for a maximum of  5 years following the end date of your contract.

Legitimate Interest – Thomas Thor holds candidate information for reasons of legitimate interest, in other words individuals we have been in contact with in the last 5 years already saved in our database will remain in our database as part of our continuing drive to match suitable candidates with the requirements of our clients.


You may be entitled, in accordance with applicable law (GDPR), to object to or request the restriction of processing of your personal information, and to request access to, rectification, erasure and portability of your own personal information.
