We are seeking a highly structured, analytical, and proactive Program Integration Manager (PIM) to support one of the Netherlands’ most complex infrastructure and construction programs. The PIM ensures alignment across multiple major projects, safeguarding the program baseline and enabling effective cooperation in a multidisciplinary, high-stakes environment.
This assignment focuses on establishing the foundation of the Program Integration Management function, including governance, procedures, reporting structures, and team capability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the real-time integrated program schedule, risk register, issue register, and cost profile within the established Project Controls framework.
- Analyse progress data from multiple project streams, identifying interfaces, risks, bottlenecks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly integrated program progress reports, consolidating information across all projects.
- Lead the program-level issue management process and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
- Participate in coordination teams to manage project-to-project interfaces and support effective resource utilization.
- Promote transparency, alignment, and program-level cohesion among all stakeholders.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years in complex, multidisciplinary construction or infrastructure programs.
- Certifications such as IPMA C/B, PMI-PMP, or Prince2 Practitioner are strong advantages.
- Solid knowledge of program and project management methodologies, including risk and issue management and cost control.
- Familiarity with integrated planning and project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Proven experience managing interfaces between multiple projects and external stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with integrated budgets, schedules, risk registers, and issue registers.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at senior/executive level and experience leading integration or coordination teams.
- Dutch-speaking and fluent in English.
Other Requirements
- Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., nuclear, infrastructure, industrial projects) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly to Petten; primary office location in Alkmaar.
