Primary Heat Transport Engineer

Thomas Thor currently has a very long-term contract opening for a Nuclear Systems Engineer that can be performed remotely from your home. All candidates MUST be US citizens or permanent residents.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Primary Heat Transport (PHT) System Design Engineer is focused on the primary sodium heat transport system design as part of the sodium fast reactor. The PHT is analogous to the nuclear steam supply system in a light water reactor. In this role, you will act as a system design engineer for advanced nuclear reactor projects or other highly technical projects. The successful candidate demonstrates in depth knowledge of fluid system design including knowledge of centrifugal pump and tube & shell heat exchanger operation.
