Cyber Security Specialist II – Nuclear (Contract)
Are you a skilled cybersecurity professional with expertise in digital systems and nuclear infrastructure? We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist II to join our team in Hartsville, SC. This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within one of the most critical industries.
What this role includes:
- Location: Hartsville, South Carolina – Local Candidates Only (No Per Diem)
- Full-Time, Onsite, 12 Month Contract, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs.
- Schedule: 4 Days x 10 Hours, Monday-Thursday
- Salary Range: $55/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with upgrades & integration for digital systems using 10 CFR 50.59 guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and project groups on system modifications.
- Conduct cyber reviews, assessments, walkdowns ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical support as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Digital Process Systems during plant modifications or emergencies.
Required Skills:
- Technical Expertise
- Proficient knowledge of cybersecurity principles related to industrial control environments like networking protocols (Ethernet/TCP/IP), operating systems such as Windows/Linux platforms; experience handling tools securing Critical Digital Assets effectively is essential .
- Ability working across collaborative multitasking interfaces between various stakeholders/staff-projects making seamless interconnection possible through data-driven analytics
