We are looking for a Licensing Coordinator. You will contribute to strategic processes related to location selection, permitting, and the development of a licensing organization for new nuclear power plants in the Netherlands. This is a pioneering project within a highly regulated, politically sensitive, and technically complex environment.
You act as a right-hand man and sparring partner for project managers and support them in organizing, structuring, and substantively preparing crucial decisions in the development phase.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate the licensing and development strategy into concrete activities, processes, and plans
* Map out required permits, requirements, and qualifications, and contribute to setting up a licensable organization
* Organize and facilitate workshops and working groups with internal and external stakeholders
* Conduct desk research, interviews, and analyses on permits, location selection, and permit eligibility
* Develop assessment frameworks to compare scenarios and locations based on risks, opportunities, and feasibility
* Provide structure to work processes and ensure clear and timely deliverables
* Prepare project plans, decision documents, and presentations for various stakeholders
* Monitor progress and coherence between different workstreams
* Identify risks and support project management and decision‑making
* Translate the strategic plan into work packages and schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with program planning
* Support the manager in shaping processes, structures, and systems within the licensing team, including using an AI tool, guiding team meetings, tracking actions, creating progress reports, and developing document management
Requirements:
* Completed higher professional education (preferably university)
* Experience in consulting, project management, or a similar role
* Proven experience with stakeholder management and complex decision‑making
* Ability to provide structure, monitor planning, and deliver high‑quality outputs on time
