What this role offers:
Location: Seneca, SC
Full-Time, Hybrid, 12-Month Contract. High likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 x 10’s
Mob/Demob: $500 (PD approved for qualified candidates)
Per Diem: $140/day, 7 days/week
Salary Range: $75-$80

Responsibilities:

Solve complex civil engineering design problems with limited supervision, applying advanced discipline knowledge and independent judgment

Produce and review civil design deliverables for nuclear facility infrastructure, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

Serve as Subject Matter Expert, providing authoritative technical guidance across project teams and disciplines

Apply fundamental civil engineering concepts to progressively complex and varied scopes of work

Support plant modifications, design basis documentation, and civil infrastructure assessments as required

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while operating with a high degree of independence on assigned engineering tasks
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 15 years of civil engineering discipline experience – required

Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert-level proficiency in civil design within the nuclear or highly regulated power industry

Advanced knowledge of civil design standards, codes, and nuclear quality assurance requirements (e.g., NQA-1, 10 CFR)
-
Proven ability to work independently and resolve complex, non-routine engineering challenges

Experience supporting or leading engineering work at operating nuclear plants preferred
