What This Role Offers
Location: Richland, WA – Columbia Generating Station
Type: Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Month Contract – High likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 x 10s (Monday-Thursday)
Salary Range: Level I: 40-55/hr Level II: $60-75/hr| Level III: $80-$95/hr

Note: This is a single opening. Level and compensation will reflect the selected candidate’s qualifications and nuclear scheduling experience. U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support schedule and cost development, analysis, and reporting for nuclear development projects

  • Provide technical direction and challenge to project managers in developing project scope, detailed schedules, and cost estimates

  • Monitor and report all project schedule, scope, and cost changes to project managers and New Nuclear management in a timely manner

  • Perform detailed variance analysis, forecasting, contingency reconciliation, and project reporting

  • Support budget-to-actual reporting, month-end and year-end closing processes, and overhead allocation analysis

  • Utilize system-generated reporting tools including Primavera P6, Microsoft Power BI, and general ledger systems, as well as ad hoc complex budgetary analysis

  • Apply knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology to project monitoring and control activities

  • Assist in the development and updating of budget policies, procedures, and desk manuals

  • Interface with internal managers, supervisors, and external agencies on project controls matters

Qualifications:

Level I:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2 years of project controls/project management experience in an industrial environment; OR AA degree with 6 years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience

  • Formal training in Primavera P6 or equivalent project management system required

Level II & III:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5 years of project controls/project management experience in an industrial environment; OR AA degree with 9 years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of experience

  • Formal training in Primavera P6 or equivalent project management system required

  • Desired: EVM certification via PMI (PMP, PBA, SP, CAPM, or RMP)

  • Desired: Experience supporting large-scale projects ($25M+) in power generation (nuclear, combined cycle, renewables), heavy industrial (refineries, water treatment, mining), or major data center/manufacturing facilities

  • Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Asset Suite, Workday Adaptive Planning, and/or Workday

  • Desired: Experience in process improvement and working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
