What This Role Offers:
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, most of the work can be performed remotely.
Full-Time | Hybrid OR Remote | 12-Month Contract | High likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: M-F
Salary Range: $69 – $115/hr

Responsibilities:

Act in a project management capacity for EPC procurement performance management and oversight, applying cost, schedule, and submittal tracking tools

Coordinate reviews of EPC specifications, bid packages, and bid assessments to protect the owner’s interests

Provide oversight and coordination of EPC procurement schedule and budget, supporting cost evaluations against planned budgets

Collaborate with internal technical, commercial, legal, and project management teams to ensure contractual and technical fidelity with EPC partners

Support development of contract documents relevant to EPC supplier scope of work

Manage technical deliverable submittal processes between EPC and the technical team

Support technical interfaces between the EPC procurement team and the internal technical team

Maintain awareness of EPC technical capabilities and organizational dynamics to ensure positive project outcomes
Required Qualifications:
-
Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering preferred
-
10-20 years of experience in supplier oversight
-
3-5 years of manufacturing oversight in fabrication or heavy industrial environments preferred
-
Understanding of fabrication travelers, welding, and similar manufacturing processes, and quality program implementation

Experience defining heavy industrial equipment supplier scope, including development of SOWs and RFPs

Demonstrated skills in management of heavy industrial suppliers in design and manufacturing environments

Demonstrated skills supporting contractual and commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships
-
Experience with technical interface with engineering groups for review and input to supplier activities

Experience with project controls tools and processes

Broad understanding of how mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering disciplines interrelate
