We are seeking a highly capable and experienced System and Data Manager to join our Quality Delivery team. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the data analytics strategy, with a focus on developing and managing Power BI dashboards that deliver independent, data-driven insights into the performance and forecast of the MEH programme. These insights will support timely and effective contract management and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will oversee the Power BI reporting strategy, working collaboratively with project teams and improvement workstreams to identify root causes of performance issues, understand key drivers, and support the implementation of improvement plans. This role includes the management of data analysts and ensures consistent, accurate reporting across the Quality function, including adherence to the ‘Drumbeat’ reporting cadence and support for area-specific reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Data Analysts.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to non-specialist stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for senior management.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Quality Delivery function.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards integrating data from multiple sources.

  • Ensure robust data governance and quality standards are upheld.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored reporting solutions.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in a Reporting or Data Analyst role.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in an analytical discipline.

  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data modelling.

  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for dashboard development.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and designers.

  • Experience using industry-standard software tools.

  • Formal training in project management methodologies such as PMQ or PRINCE2.

  • A solid understanding of quality assurance and control principles.
