Location: Hybrid/ York, SC
Full-Time, Onsite, 3 Year Contract, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: Standard business hours with potential support during key project milestones
Salary Range: $80 – $90 per hour (W2)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute engineering design change modifications supporting nuclear power upgrade projects

  • Provide technical leadership in resolving complex engineering challenges within operating nuclear plants

  • Prepare and review engineering change packages, calculations, and supporting documentation

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including mechanical, electrical, I&C, and structural groups

  • Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements, plant procedures, and engineering standards

  • Support plant modifications through design, review, implementation, and verification phases

  • Participate in plant walkdowns and provide technical support for installation and field implementation activities

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers while supporting engineering program objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited program

  • 10+ years of experience supporting design change modifications at commercial nuclear power plants

  • Demonstrated experience supporting engineering changes in operating nuclear generating stations

  • Strong familiarity with nuclear engineering processes including modification packages and plant change programs

  • Experience supporting major plant upgrades, power upgrade initiatives, or large modification programs

  • Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within multidisciplinary engineering teams
