Plant Integrated Analysis Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and refine RELAP5-3D models for steady-state and transient hydraulic analyses.
– Design plant-level control strategies alongside component-specific controllers.
– Conduct calculations using core principles in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
– Analyze various operational scenarios including normal operations, upset events, emergencies, and faults to establish design parameters.
– Perform multidisciplinary thermal-hydraulic analyses involving materials like sodium or molten salt across system scales.

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate brings these proficiencies:
1. Thermal-Hydraulics Expertise – Proficient with one-dimensional network analysis tools such as RELAP5/TRACE; essential for modeling complex systems effectively.
2. Control Systems Modeling Experience – A background in I&C integration is highly advantageous when designing responsive plant controls under diverse conditions.
3. Analytical Problem-Solving Abilities- Adept at creating new methods supporting cross-disciplinary engineering collaboration-ensuring seamless solutions from testing through final implementation!
