What This Role Offers:
Location: Corvallis, OR Full-Time | Hybrid/Remote (Preference for Corvallis, OR office; remote within contiguous U.S. considered with up to 25% travel)

Contract: Through end of 2026, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs

Schedule: M-F 40hrs/week

Salary Range: $52-$85/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and plan initiatives to implement and mature product-based configuration management (CM), including bills of materials, dataset traceability, and key performance indicator (KPI) definition

  • Identify opportunities to expand or introduce CM processes across design programs and recommend implementation methods

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deploy tailored CM processes and tools that reduce design risk and complexity

  • Develop enhancements to change control processes that emphasize efficiency and product-based evaluation criteria

  • Partner with the PLM software development team to drive process-driven tool improvements within the Aras Innovator platform

  • Ensure CM processes remain compliant with applicable standards and regulations including NQA-1, ASME, NRC, and ISO 9001

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical disciplines across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related technical or process-oriented field required

  • Configuration management certification (CM2-C or equivalent) preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of directly related, full-time professional CM experience required

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing CM processes, procedures, and infrastructure to full maturity on complex, multi-disciplinary design projects required

  • Familiarity with CM standards including CM2 and EIA-649, and experience with product structures required

  • Proficiency with PLM infrastructure and tools required; Aras Innovator experience strongly preferred

  • Experience defining bills of materials and key performance indicators required

  • Strong technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills required

  • Experience in highly regulated environments required; NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B/Part 52 experience preferred

  • Experience in power generation or nuclear industry product configuration management preferred

  • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
