Mechanical Technician – Nuclear Power Plant (Outage Maintenance) | Barakah

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians to perform maintenance during refueling outages at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant. This role requires hands-on expertise with key mechanical systems while ensuring strict adherence to nuclear safety, quality, health, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, corrective, and major overhaul maintenance on mechanical systems, including valves, pumps, chillers, diesels, HVAC, and filtration systems.
Conduct rigging, lifting, alignment, and bolting/torquing operations safely and efficiently.
Inspect, repair, and replace components such as gaskets, seals, filters, and strainers.
Execute diagnostic testing and maintenance for diesel systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Support surveillance and periodic testing as required for plant maintenance.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
Technician certificate or equivalent qualification in mechanical maintenance.
Outage experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience in valve maintenance, pump overhauls, rigging, lifting, lubrication, and steam/compressed gas systems.
Proficiency in using mechanical hand tools, measuring/test equipment, and interpreting technical drawings.
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality standards.
