What This Role Offers

Location: Richland, WA

Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Month Contract – high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs

Schedule: 4 x 10’s (Monday-Thursday)

Salary Range: Level I: $61-$70/hr | Level II: $71-$80/hr | Level III: $81-$90/hr

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and control small to medium capital projects supporting refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance

  • Direct a project team of five to ten, establishing priorities and maintaining oversight across all phases of project implementation

  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking cost versus budget and coordinating closely with finance and project controls

  • Oversee work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, and industrial and nuclear safety compliance

  • Resolve schedule delays and conflicts, and manage resource loading and work execution

  • Develop and manage vendor contracts and serve as the primary point of contact for related parties

  • Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to senior management and stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects

  • Support the site’s self-assessment and corrective action programs, including outage support (OCC)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted per level)

  • Level I: Fourteen years of technical field experience (or AA/AS degree + sixteen years, or HS diploma/GED + eighteen years); Project Management certification required

  • Level II: Twelve to fourteen years of project management experience in a regulated, multifaceted industrial environment (requirement varies by degree held); experience with commercial nuclear power plant system replacements/upgrades preferred

  • Level III: Minimum of eight years of project scheduling experience, including at least four years on large-scale, mega projects; proficiency in Primavera P6 required

  • Strong understanding of EVM (Earned Value Management) and risk management processes

  • Experience with error reduction and human performance improvement methodologies

  • Experience in the nuclear industry, renewable energy, or large-scale construction highly desirable
