As an EHSS&Q Manager, you will join one of the largest sites in the Magnox fleet. You will join a growing team and have the ability to use your experience on nuclear sites, or other high hazard sites/industries, to enable site safety. Additionally, as an EHSS&Q Manager you will;

  • Provide an independent view of EHSS&Q performance to the Site Director, including monitoring and reporting EHSS&Q performance
  • Undertake the role of Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Management representative.
  • Maintain and develop an integrated quality, safety, and environmental management system, meeting statutory and company requirements. Including; site license and RSA / EPR[2] authorisation requirements.
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and act as necessary to maintain EHSS&Q standards and improve performance.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant experience in senior safety related roles
  • Safety experience on a nuclear site or within a high hazard industry
  • Experience in dealing with HSE and other regulators such as the ONR, Environment Agency, local stakeholders, and the community.

  • Site based position Monday – Thursday (37 hours weekly)
  • 25 days (equivalent) annual leave – option to buy or sell up to 5 days each year
