Role description

The aim of the job is to help and support the NI TOS with tasks in link with the Work process, blocking process and process temporary modification process.

As Mechanical PTW Support you will be doing technical clarifications of work orders or permits to test, and creating and validating of blockings/simulations. You will also be responsible for the closure of work order – temporary modification fault notification etc after analysis. On request of NI TOS, you also prepare Permit to Work documentation, ensuring strict compliance.

It will be in your tasks to give a clear picture of all the availability of the systems under the responsibility of NI TOS (P&Id).

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Besides mentioned above, your tasks include:
-Analysis of the boundaries or the blockings before the execution of blockings
-Oversee In-field operator teams for establishing safe work conditions
-Depressurizing, de-energising, locking and tagging


Essential skills

You have a Mechanical engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in nuclear power plants. Working experience in Permit to work offices and/or working in a unit in operation PWR will be required. Due to your previous experience, you know the mechanical work orders and blockings very well and have detailed knowledge about the mechanical process documentation.

You are able to work on the different process diagram, isometrics, preparation of solution and support for inventories in the field, as well understand generally about mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and measurement/instrumentation technology. Also, a general understanding of electrical technology is required to succeed in this role.

In-depth knowledge of nuclear plant operations and/or procedural planning of shutdowns/outages will be highly appreciated.
