Role description

In this position you will be make sure to avoid shortage of Spare Parts due to Sub-suppliers’ discontinuation, by supporting the obsolescence manager and assuring that Supply Chain is following the obsolescence process.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Follow-up of obsolescence topics (exhaustive list and progress)
  • Draft of obsolescence notification channels toward Customer
  • Reply to questions raised by Customer
  • Identify the obsolescence cases
  • Remind Sub-Suppliers about their contractual obligations for obsolescence notification
  • Support Buyer team to prepare the obsolescence dossier before drafting the Clarification Request
  • Piloting the sub-contracting company who will monitor the potential future obsolescence

Essential skills

We are looking for you if you have at least 3 years’ of experience in the Nuclear Field with an Engineering background.
