You will join a team working on the Hinkley Point C EPR construction project.

This is a contract role based in Lyon.

Fluency in French required.

Role description

Within the engineering team, the PDMS Engineer will support the operational team on a nuclear new build project.

As the mission focuses on the electrical system; you will be in working with plans and design of cable containment and trays, the integration of the equipment in the model; and drawing the detailed electrical system (low voltage distribution system) defined by the customer’s technical specifications.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Creating outlines from the specifications and to check and assess the plan and material details of tenders.
  • Archiving, recording, and writing about meetings, job progress and construction completion with the help of specifications and getting approval of reports from Project Engineers.
  • Consolidating constructive criticism from undertakings and clients for design clarification and alterations amid the development stage.
  • Reviewing and auditing extended details, regulations and specialized practices, outline guidelines, plot arranging, stream charts and data.
  • Performing 3-dimensional model drawings utilizing specifications, standard drawings, outline directions, plot arranges, stream charts, line rundown and provider data.
  • Imparting and interfacing with the other project plan and designing controls.
  • Preparation of the project reports for the venture channelling territory/unit manager.
  • Perform 3D hardware and channelling format work and create PC produced development drawings
  • To give outlines that are safe to functions and meet every required code and models and to perform information consistency check and conflict check.

Essential skills

For succeeding in this position, you would need to have worked with PDMS software at least for 2 years.

Also, you are fluent in French and have an intermediate level of English.

It would be considered a plus to have electrical experience.
