Radioactive Waste Management - Harwell, Oxfordshire
Role description
Ready for your next big project? Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) is looking for two Senior Planners to join them as they continue efforts completing the UK’s first ever Geological Disposal Facility (GDF).
You will join a growing team and utilise your experience to build capabilities within the organisation. Additionally, you will;
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and amend schedules, work breakdown structures and planning products for complex projects and programmes.
- Conduct analysis on plans to provide insight to Project & Programme Managers that will help to enhance delivery and improve decision-making on the management of dependencies and critical path.
- Support the implementation of the overall planning and scheduling framework for the RWM portfolio.
- Support the definition, development and maintenance of planning processes and tools to support effective scheduling and resource management & communication across the portfolio.
- Support the execution of an effective means of monitoring and assuring the consistent use of the planning approach across the RWM portfolio.
- Ensure programme plans provide sufficient data required by Programme Performance for reporting.
Essential skills
You will have strong analytical skills you will use to interpret complex data, and the ability to communicate across all levels, including senior management. Within this, you will be experienced in P6 and understand the project controls function, ideally within a highly regulated industry.
