Role description

Our client handles and treats low-level waste, mainly from the nuclear power industry but also other industries such as healthcare. The company has world-unique specialist expertise in decommissioning radiological facilities and helps its customers minimize the environmental impact of their radiological activities.

As a Tender Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Define competencies for the preparation of the offer
  • Propose an effective industrial plan
  • Analyze the content of the RFQ, questioning the customer’s needs and expectations
  • Prepare the tender in close cooperation with the technical project manager
  • Conduct a comprehensive risk analysis with the support of specialists
  • Set goals for quality, cost and time
  • Create a commercial, technical, legal, tax and financial summary of the offer
  • Present the tender to management for approval
  • Engage in technical and commercial negotiations with the customer
  • Hand over the signed contract to the project manager for implementation and sometimes carry out the project

The tender process is always under development and with your knowledge and experience as a Tender Manager you contribute to a continuous improvement of it.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in automation/electric power/energy/mechanics/law/economics or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of work experience in tendering, within an industrial context
  • Great writing skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience in contract and contract management
  • Experience in international energy project is a plus, especially in nuclear
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Swedish is preferred.
