Estimate Lead

Take on a leadership role in cost estimating for one of the nation’s most complex nuclear programs. We are seeking an Estimate Lead to join our team onsite in Aiken, SC, where you will direct the development of multi-billion-dollar estimates for heavy industrial and nuclear construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review source data, including engineering documents, to develop accurate and defensible cost estimates.
• Work with the Volume III Lead to develop estimating plans and handbooks.
• Identify scope areas requiring subcontract support or engineered equipment, and collaborate with Supply Chain to prepare specifications and obtain pricing.
• Determine areas needing subject matter expertise and coordinate with the Proposal Manager to bring in appropriate SMEs.
• Select appropriate estimating methodologies and oversee the development of detailed estimates.
• Lead and participate in estimate reviews, ensuring all feedback and comments are incorporated.

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 25+ years of experience across engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
• Proven track record developing multi-billion-dollar cost estimates.
• Specific experience leading cost estimates for heavy industrial facilities (chemical processing, oil & gas, etc.) and/or nuclear facilities.
• Four-year degree required (additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
