We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer specializing in ASME Section III Design Certification, with expertise in reactor structures, components design, and certification processes. This remote contract opportunity offers competitive rates ranging from $56-$95/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare, review, and certify Design Specifications (DS) & Design Reports (DR) for nuclear supports/pressure-retaining components.
– Serve as Certifying Engineer by applying professional engineering judgment-signing certifications where required.
– Stay current with updates to industry standards such as ASME Section III regulations.
– Lead end-to-end equipment/component designs-from requirements through finalization stages.
– Collaborate across Engineering teams ensuring compliance while managing supplier activities effectively.

Required Qualifications:
To excel here you’ll need:
– A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education (Mechanical Engineering preferred) alongside 8+ years of relevant hands-on designing experience
Active Professional Engineers Licenses is non-negotiable
