Full-Time | Onsite | 18-Month Contract | High likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 x 10s (Monday-Thursday)
Pay Rate: $60.00 – $70.00/hr

Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implementation of fleet-wide risk-informed applications and strategic initiatives, including Risk-Informed Completion Times (RICT), Surveillance Frequency Control Program (SFCP), and 10 CFR 50.69 categorizations with Alternative Treatment development.
* Research, compile, and provide reference documentation to support third-party reviews and regulatory submissions.
* Coordinate technical reviews with site resources and resolve system design and operations questions arising from 50.69 categorization and alternative treatment activities.
* Provide engineering and technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve complex risk-informed issues; assess impacts on a system and fleet-wide basis; and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Apply technical rigor and operating experience to produce risk-informed solutions that optimize safety, support regulatory compliance, and enhance operational decision-making.
* Plan and execute assigned work across multiple workstreams with appropriate estimating, scheduling, and status reporting; independently problem-solve where limited standardization exists.
* Prepare and maintain thorough technical reports, correspondence, calculations, analyses, and supporting documentation; recommend process and standards improvements as appropriate.
* Perform engineering studies with technical responsibility for coordinating inputs across cross-functional stakeholders; facilitate reviews and document decisions.
* Maintain accurate project records in accordance with client documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent).
* Minimum 8 years of relevant nuclear engineering experience; experience with the client nuclear fleet strongly preferred.
* Experience with Boolean logic development and/or analysis using large fault trees.
* Familiarity with fundamental BWR or PWR plant systems.
* Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, meet deliverables, and provide status updates.
* Strong written and oral communication skills suitable for both technical and leadership audiences.
* Proficiency in researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, and preparing well-supported recommendations.
Preferred:
* Advanced knowledge of PRA methodologies and risk-informed applications (e.g., RI-ISI, 10 CFR 50.69, risk-informed technical specifications) and associated regulatory requirements.
* Experience using PRA software, particularly CAFTA and/or PHOENIX Risk Monitor (or comparable tools).
* SRO certification, RO or SRO license, or Technical Nuclear certification.
* Project management proficiency; PMP designation and/or MBA viewed favorably.
