What This Role Offers:
Location: Richland, WA
Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Month Contract | High likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 x 10’s (Monday-Thursday)
Salary Range: $30 – $35 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Level 1-4 project implementation schedules using Primavera P6

  • Integrate project cost estimates and schedules to produce logic-tied, resource-loaded cost flow projections

  • Analyze schedule deviations and report on activities with potential impact to cost or schedule performance

  • Evaluate real-time cost data to determine project financial status and recommend corrective actions to mitigate overruns

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop accurate Estimates to Completion (ETC) and maintain predictable cost forecasts

  • Develop and deliver financial health reports for project personnel and management, including projected scope/funding changes

  • Track changes to projected and actual project budgets and communicate budget impacts to Corporate Finance

  • Implement approved budget and schedule changes into the baseline schedule following Project Review Committee and Executive Authorization Committee approvals

  • Process journal entries into the financial system to accrue for completed but uninvoiced work and correct any identified mischarges

  • Perform consistency reviews of schedule data, resolve findings, and document Lessons Learned for continuous improvement

  • Attend project challenge, approval, safety, and general staff meetings; maintain regular touchpoints with assigned Project Managers

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant project controls or IT project experience, OR 10+ years of experience in a directly related field without a degree

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 for schedule development, resource loading, and monthly status updates

  • Demonstrated experience with cost control, budget tracking, and financial forecasting on capital or infrastructure projects

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies is strongly preferred: Cisco switches/firewalls, NetApp storage, Trellix/McAfee cybersecurity devices, OWL Data Diodes, VMware, Windows Servers (Active Directory/DNS), or DCS systems

  • Mechanical background or experience is preferred

  • Commercial nuclear power plant experience strongly preferred

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Must be able to obtain a Green Badge Level 2 site access credential
