Supplier Project Engineer, Supply Chain

What This Role Offers:

Location: Remote

Full-Time, Remote (Travel 25-50%), 12-Month Contract | High likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs

Schedule: M-F

Salary Range: $69 – $115/hr

Responsibilities:

• Act in a project management capacity for supplier performance oversight, applying cost, schedule, submittal, and resource management tools

• Develop statements of work (SOWs) and project plans to execute supplier projects in support of program objectives

• Facilitate supplier selection activities including RFP development and team review/award processes in conjunction with the Contract Administrator

• Manage technical interfaces between supplier projects and the internal engineering team

• Manage the submittal process between suppliers and the internal team, coordinating review and disposition of supplier deliverables

• Provide direction and oversight of supplier projects to ensure delivery of contract deliverables

Qualifications:

• Technical degree required

• 10+ years of experience in supplier oversight required

• Manufacturing oversight experience preferred

• Understanding of manufacturing travelers, welding, and similar manufacturing processes

• Ability to travel 25-50% or more to supplier locations

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required due to U.S. export control requirements
