Help bring next-generation nuclear technology to market. We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead product development efforts for a small modular reactor program – owning schedule, cost, and delivery on complex, first-of-a-kind engineering projects with real commercial stakes.

Location: Houston, Texas

Full-Time, Hybrid (onsite preferred; remote considered for highly experienced candidates, up to 25% travel), Contract length: 12 months, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs

Schedule: M-F

Salary Range: $90-$110/hr

Responsibilities:
-
Manage overall planning and execution of assigned nuclear product development projects

Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, including approved baseline, earned value planning, and execution strategy

Communicate project baseline and requirements across the project team

Interface with and support discipline managers and cross-functional teams
-
Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues, escalating within the organization as needed
-
Deliver weekly/monthly status reporting on project performance, earned value metrics, variance analysis, and risk mitigation

Coordinate with performing organizations to authorize work and assign qualified resources
-
Develop, maintain, and control project-specific plans and procedures to ensure efficient execution
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
-
10+ years of full-time project management experience with high complexity and multiple interfaces
-
Proven leadership on a licensed nuclear design project; working knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor designs

Direct experience with design, testing, manufacturing, and installation of nuclear power plant control systems

Demonstrated application of PMI/PMBOK principles and integrated cost/schedule control (EVMS/ANSI EIA-748-C)
-
Project management experience in nuclear, energy, or power plant A/E or EPC environments
-
PMP certification or equivalent preferred
