PCGJP00003131 – Nuclear Operations Instructor

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Operations Instructor to join our team on a contract basis at the esteemed team in San Luis Obispo, CA. This role is crucial for implementing and enhancing training programs critical to safe plant operations.

Job Responsibilities:
– Training Development & Implementation: Analyze material for new/revised training using SAT process; develop classroom lessons, laboratory settings, performance evaluations and tests.
– Safety Promotion: Model safety behaviors as per management expectations; incorporate ALARA topics into teachings.
– **Organizational Contribution: Facilitate employee involvement in training processes ensuring housekeeping standards meet managerial expectations while also maintaining qualifications relevant to nuclear industry instructional roles.

Minimum Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience within a Nuclear Plant Operations or related department essential for consideration.

Desired Skills and Certifications:
– Current/previous SRO Certificate or RO/SRO license preferred
– INPO instructor certificate desirable
(demonstrates proficiency with regulated instruction)
