Are you ready to shape the future of nuclear technology and innovation? We’re looking for a Nuclear Methods Engineer with expertise in reactor physics and design to contribute directly to groundbreaking advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop formal documentation supporting licensing processes for advanced reactors.
– Enhance software tools ensuring compliance during Validation & Verification (V&V).
– Perform sensitivity studies on modeling assumptions such as transport options or cross-section preparation, refining methods accordingly.
– Train reactor designers/developers on using state-of-the-art simulation ecosystems effectively.
Required Experience:
To excel in this position:
– A degree (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.) in Nuclear Engineering coupled with 2-20 years’ experience depending on education level will be essential.
– Proficiency working across key methodologies like criticality analysis/fuel management optimization/uncertainty propagation approaches preferred!
