Mechanical Analysis and Methods Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct mechanical analysis for reactor cores and assemblies utilizing finite element methodologies.
– Benchmark test data accuracy through detailed calculations.
– Support method development initiatives with uncertainty quantification techniques.
– Collaborate on software quality assurance for both proprietary tools and commercial platforms.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should bring:
– A B.S. or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
– 0-3 years’ experience applying hand-calculations paired with finite-element modeling expertise.

Candidates must also demonstrate strong coding skills-preferably Python-and exhibit excellent communication abilities alongside integrity-driven teamwork practices.
