Maintenance Program Engineer – Nuclear Infrastructure (Rockville, MD / Remote Eligible)

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced reactor technology? We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Program Engineer with expertise in nuclear infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintenance programs aligned with ASME Code compliance, In-Service Inspection (ISI), and Testing (IST).
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers to integrate maintainability into system designs.
  • Lead plant equipment classification efforts for lifecycle asset management strategies.
  • Recommend system enhancements from construction through decommissioning phases.
  • Spearhead technical oversight across multidisciplinary teams while ensuring adherence to NRC standards.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Commercial Nuclear Experience required
  2. In-Service Inspection (ISI), and Testing (IST) experience required.
  3. A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering is essential; master’s/Ph.D. degrees may reduce experience requirements based on their relevance.
  4. At least 10 years’ demonstrated success within engineering or maintenance roles-especially those intersecting regulatory frameworks like NRC guidelines-is preferred.
