Senior Safety Analysis Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive system models and perform analysis of operational occurrences (AOO), design events (DBE/DBA).
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define core functional requirements supporting overall designs.
– Integrate Licensing Basis Event findings into licensing documentation.
– Contribute expertise toward code validation, scaling analysis, verification activities, etc.
– Perform engineering reviews of transient benchmarks relevant to plant performance tests.

Essential Skills & Expertise:
1. Nuclear Systems Modeling: Extensive experience using tools like RELAP5 or TRACE for thermal-hydraulic simulations ensures precision-driven results.
2. Regulatory Insight: Familiarity with NRC guidelines such as FSAR Chapter 15 demonstrates knowledge vital during compliance checks.
3. Safety Method Development Proficiency: Strong quantitative modeling supports advanced risk-informed solutions tailored uniquely per project needs!
4 . Programming Background: Skilled engineers fluent w/python,c++,fortran preferred
