Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in nuclear licensing and environmental regulations? We are seeking a highly skilled Licensing Consultant to join our team in Washington State. This is an exciting contract role offering 75% remote work flexibility over a period of one year or more.

What this role offers:
Location: 75% remote, 25% travel to Richland, Washington
Full-Time, Onsite, 12-Month Contract, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 Days x 10 Hours, Monday-Thursday
Salary Range: $75-85/hour depending on experience + Reimbursed Travel Expenses

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop strategic approaches for licensing and environmental activities supporting new nuclear development goals.
– Provide technical advice on complex regulatory issues including industry guidance interpretation.
– Consult management on safety, compliance, and resolution of critical issues related to regulation.
– Represent the organization during interactions with regulators, workshops, conferences & other stakeholders.
– Conduct field visits when required as part of Environmental Review processes.

Required Education/Experience:
To excel in this position:
* Hold at least a bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Education/Business or relevant fields).
* Have 15+ years’ experience within supervisory roles focused specifically around Nuclear infrastructure operations tied License Compliance + minimum additional five overseeing staff

Skills Needed :

1) **Regulatory Knowledge:** Deep understanding about navigating both legal standards governing facility operation permits alongside environment sustainability mandates that might bring challenges being tackled head-on effectively
2 ) Capable self-assessment evaluation /benchmarking methods utilized across private sector firms ensuring continual improvement initiatives optimized!
