Key Responsibilities
-
Serve as the primary administrator for business applications supporting plant operations, including EAM/ERP platforms and the Dynamic Instructions (DI) / HyperService digital work execution suite.

Lead the conversion of existing procedures and work instructions into computer-guided Dynamic Instructions using NextAxiom DWEP platform tooling; optimize and enrich content for field usability, compliance, and performance.

Plan, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise applications across Windows and Linux environments, including DI authoring and execution components built on Node.js, Java, and Apache Tomcat.

Provide Tier 2/3 application support; investigate and resolve complex issues, and mentor staff on DI authoring, conversion, testing, and field execution.

Partner with procedure writers, planners, supervisors, and operations staff to gather feedback and continuously improve digital work packages for field performance.

Support and optimize integrations between enterprise platforms and systems including IoT, GIS, SCADA, financial, and HR systems to enable end-to-end digital work execution.

Develop and maintain governance-compliant system documentation, configurations, workflows, and integration records that support controlled deployment and audit readiness.

Participate in business continuity planning, disaster recovery testing, and cybersecurity compliance; support audits and regulatory requirements including NQA-1, FERC, NERC, and SOX.

Lead or contribute to application lifecycle initiatives including selection, implementation, upgrades, and retirement, with accountability for DI/HyperService platform delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field – or equivalent professional experience.

7+ years of experience managing enterprise or business applications, with at least 5 years administering ERP/EAM platforms in a utility, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environment.

Hands-on experience with ERP/EAM platforms such as Oracle, IBM Maximo, or Asset Suite.

Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages including PowerShell, Python, or Bash; experience with integration technologies (APIs, ETL, HyperService middleware).

Demonstrated ability to own and support an application stack including services built on Node.js and Java, hosted on Apache Tomcat.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and hybrid on-premises/cloud environments.

Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL processes.

Demonstrated ability to convert, author, test, and optimize computer-based procedures using digital tooling.

Strong working knowledge of procedure development, work package creation, and work process documentation within a regulated industry.

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for enterprise application environments.
Preferred:
-
5+ years of experience with nuclear-grade procedures.

Experience with electronic work packages, HyperService, and/or Digital Work Execution Platforms.

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including FERC, NERC CIP, and NQA-1.
