What This Role Offers:
Location: Remote
Full-Time | Remote | Contract – 12 months, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: M-F
Salary Range: $52 – $85/hr

Responsibilities:

Manage project cost, schedule, and scope execution using project management best practices.

Break down high-level engineering tasks into discretized activity schedules for multiple design teams.

Track team assignments, manage engineering resource leveling, and generate monthly resource forecasts.

Manage detailed schedule logic and interface ties for RSSI design team activities and external design areas.

Gather status reporting from design teams and provide periodic updates to key engineering leaders.

Support risk management by tracking risk status, maintaining the risk registry, and facilitating monthly risk reviews.

Support fiscal year schedule, resource, and budget planning efforts.

Facilitate change process approvals for new and emerging engineering activities.
Qualifications:

B.S. or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline; 4+ years of direct project management experience.

PMP certification strongly desired.

Demonstrated experience in project management of engineering activities in the nuclear field, including systems engineering or nuclear design process.

Strong understanding of schedule management: schedule development, logic sequences, fragnets, and resource forecasting.

Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tool.

Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA) a plus.

Knowledge of NRC 10 CFR 50 licensing process desired.
