EDMS IT Business Analyst

We are partnering with a forward-thinking and innovative organisation at the forefront of advanced technology solutions, seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst (EDMS) to support critical system implementation and optimisation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact programme, working at the intersection of IT, Records Management, and Document Control, driving improvements in business processes and digital systems.

As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business functions to define requirements, support system implementation, and ensure solutions align with organisational objectives. This role offers a blend of strategic analysis, hands-on system work, and stakeholder engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Strategic Analysis & Planning: Leading initiatives that involve business process re-engineering and identifying risks in proposed IT solutions.
• Complex Requirement Management: Gathering, analysing, modeling, and tracking complex requirements, including creating process diagrams and user stories to align IT with business strategy.
• System Implementation & Design: Designing and working with IT to deploy software, hardware, or COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) applications.
• Data Analysis & Modeling: Interpreting large datasets and creating advanced data visualizations to guide decision-making.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Acting as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to explain project outcomes and manage vendor proposals.
• Software Quality Assurance: Ensuring software products meet quality standards and functional requirements before release by designing, executing, and automating test cases.
• System Development Support: Assisting with the implementation of a new EDMS platform and supporting its ongoing development, maintenance, and improvement after release.

Key Experience and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Advanced knowledge of information systems capabilities, techniques, and best practices.
• Ability to understand and execute complex technical instructions and requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to organise and simplify complex technical data and resolve issues effectively.
• Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) is preferred.
• Experience with Idox Fusion P8 is highly desirable.
• Experience with nuclear regulations, NQA1 standards, and Software Quality Assurance is an advantage.
