Salary Range: $67 – $110/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution of digital I&C V&V for assigned reactor systems in alignment with the Digital Systems Quality Assurance Plan, system V&V plans, and the Digital I&C Test Plan

  • Develop and maintain V&V schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans

  • Serve as day-to-day technical lead for the Digital Systems V&V Organization team

  • Lead or oversee development of V&V artifacts including V&V plans, test design specifications, test cases, procedures, reports, and anomaly closure documentation

  • Coordinate and technically guide SyAT/FAT/SAT and other integration/acceptance tests, ensuring traceability to system and plant-level requirements

  • Provide oversight of supplier IV&V activities for safety-related and non-safety-related digital systems

  • Review and accept V&V outputs for compliance, requirements coverage, and proper anomaly disposition

  • Maintain configuration control of V&V products in accordance with project document control requirements

  • Support internal/external audits, regulatory reviews, and licensing activities associated with Safety Analysis Reports

  • Develop and review system- and component-level specifications; apply NRC regulations and nuclear codes/standards to complex I&C design

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or higher in Controls, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; 10+ years of experience (or 6 years with M.S., or 3+ years with Ph.D.)

  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing V&V for safety-related or high-integrity digital systems, including test plan/procedure development, execution, and reporting

  • Experience in I&C development, diagnostics, and delivery of industrial I&C platforms

  • Experience implementing V&V under formal QA/QC programs including configuration management, nonconformance control, corrective action, and audit support

  • Familiarity with nuclear QA requirements (10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1) and applicable IEEE/IEC standards

  • Proven ability to lead technical teams: coordinating schedules, budgets, and reviewing/approving technical work products

  • Ability to work independently from the design organization and exercise sound technical judgment
