Type: Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Month Contract – High likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 x 10s (Monday-Thursday)
Salary Range: Level II: $60-75/hr| Level III: $80-$95/hr

Note: This is a single opening. The level and compensation awarded will reflect the candidate’s qualifications and nuclear scheduling experience. U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and integrate project schedules for nuclear and engineering projects, including refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line capital work.

  • Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera P6 scheduling tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
    * Assist project managers in building schedules appropriate to project complexity and size, with emphasis on critical path management, float analysis, and risk tracking.

  • Support all aspects of project execution including work package preparation, parts procurement coordination, ALARA planning, resource loading, and work prioritization.

  • Track cost versus budget and support budget development for assigned projects.

  • Resolve schedule delays and conflicts, escalating issues to project managers with supporting schedule analysis.

  • Prepare and deliver written and verbal schedule status communications to project teams and senior management.

  • Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned project portfolios.

  • Support implementation of the station’s Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program as it relates to project scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Primavera P6 in an operating nuclear power plant environment; familiarity with Passport is a plus.

  • Commercial nuclear power plant experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field – OR Associate’s degree in a related technical field plus 2 years of technical experience – OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of technical experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop project schedules that support critical path analysis, progress tracking, and accountability across complex, multi-discipline work scopes.

  • Experience with outage scheduling (refueling or forced outage) strongly preferred for Level II consideration.

  • Familiarity with ALARA planning, industrial safety requirements, and nuclear work control processes.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present schedule data to management audiences.
