Exam Writer (SRO)

Thomas Thor currently as a contract opening for an SRO Exam Writer with a client in the midwestern US. This individual will develop and administer the written and operating exams used to train and license nuclear power plant operators.

Core Responsibilities:
* Exam Development: Create and maintain NRC-compliant written exams, Job Performance Measures (JPMs), and simulator scenarios for both initial and continuing training programs
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure exam content meets current NRC requirements and aligns with the training program design
* Validation & Administration: Work with NRC examiners to validate and approve exams before they are used in training

Required Qualifications:
* Prior SRO, INPO Instructor or Exam Author Cert a plus
* Previous regulatory exam development experience required
